selecting languages
OK realise I must be doing something stupid but cannot get multiple languages to work. I have set on expert mode and edited the user profile file, see below and saved it to the Makemkv data file in my user folder - but Makemkv only selects my favourite language (English) - any ideas??? <?xml version...

Re: Wrong Language When Extracting to MKV
1. suggest you download the latest (and free) ? from this web site
2. look at the default selection language in preferences - is it English?
3. when you open up the titles on the DVD/BluRay disc, look at the languages available and ticked

Re: Cost of MakeMKV
So I like the app, I have tried the trial and would be willing to purchase however at $70 I can't justify. This single app costs as much as a legitimate Microsoft Office Home and Student Edition. It is clearly over priced for the value delivered. l I am not sure how you get $70, I cannot check with...

Re: mkv not playing on LG theatre but plays on popcorn?
I think Mike is being very positive here. Over the last 12 months both in this forum and others I continue to see posts from people that have bought LG products and have problems - the issue I have is that after the initial post and response from other forum user's they tend to go very quiet. I assu...

Re: 30 day free trial + BETA?
Wow, you think that they would fix that. Anyways, thinks for the feedback and guidance. My last question on this issue would be, if i just uninstall it, use CCleaner, reboot i should still be good right? Afraid DivX were not interested, typical software company (sorry Mike! don't mean Makemkv) I am...

Re: 30 day free trial + BETA?
Windows 7 64 bit. Yes, i installed it to attempt to convert the MKV to AVI, could this be the issue? In the DivX folder, look for DivX Plus Media Foundation Components folder, and then DivXThumbnailProvider.dll and DivXPropertyHandler.dll. They are associated with thumbnail production. Try renaming...

the tech brief says it is Matsushita (Matshita/Panasonic), the forums are not that positive especially about trying to change firmware.

Re: Makemkv causes a/v sync problems on at least Dune player
All files are played back from an internal hard drive. Not all MKVs do it, and an identical rip of the same movie plays fine on the Dune if I use a different program. Im not sure I can come up with any more complex of an argument. Ive been running tests for 3 days on this issue and will continue to...

Re: Makemkv causes a/v sync problems on at least Dune player
So nearly all of my DVD backups with makeMKV have an A/V sync problem that gets progressively worse as the file is played. The player is a Dune HDI Smart D1. I dont see the A/V sync problem on software players (or its very unnoticeable), or on the WDTV live box, although at times the audio drops ou...

Re: LG650 Not Supported
I would ensure you are at latest firmware first, re-try your network (not USB) and if it still doesn't work, then try mkvmerge. On my "googles", there have been issues with LG products after mkvmerge, not with Makemkv - strange but true. I guess having worked for many electronic company`s ...

Re: LG650 Not Supported
OK, so network is good, and mkv doesn't play from USB so it is mkv that is the problem :( So saw a similar problem somewhere (probably mpcclub.com) about 6 weeks ago but cannot remember if was a LG BD player or a clone, but they also could only play DivX mkv. As far as I can see this is a DivX playe...
