DTS-HD HRA (XBR) decoding fails
Hey, DTS-HD MA decoding processes just fine with MakeMKV, but whenever I come across a BD with DTS-HD High Resolution Audio the conversation fails. MakeMKV stops on "1.1 K" and I can't abort the decoding, so I only can kill the program. You can see my conversion profile here . MakeMKV show...

Re: Flac transcoding crashing
Hey, I have sent the patch to ffmpeg devs, regardless of @Romansh's hint on another patch. They ask for the name of the author, please respond: http://ffmpeg.org/trac/ffmpeg/ticket/210

Re: Flac transcoding crashing
Hey, the result that I still got 16 bit FLAC was as I had installed the mmffmpeg over my system's ffmpeg and I suspect this was the problem. So I made a fine Arch package and installed it into /opt and wrote LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/opt/mmffmpeg/lib /opt/mmffmpeg/bin/ffmpeg into the FFMPEG location field in...

Re: Flac transcoding crashing
@mike admin: Will your 24 bit patch get into upstream in time? Have you sent the patch so the ffmpeg developers? So long, a pre-compiled binary of mmffmpeg would be very handy on Linux too, because I have compiled and installed it and I'm still getting only 16 bit FLACs... Maybe I miss something, I ...

Re: Flac transcoding crashing
I have cleared the FFMPEG location in the settings but with 1.7.7 each time I try to convert to FLAC I get: "Unable to execute external program 'ffmpeg' as its path is not set in preferences". :/ MakeMKV 1.7.7 on 64-Bit Linux. BTW: What is the location of the mmffmpeg binary? Is it in the ...

Re: 1.7.5 DTS-HD MA decoding
After very long browsing in this forum I've found the indicators - look here: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=4385 But once again: This is a very bad communication policy from mike. The site is not mentioned in makemkv.com/dtshd/ or somewhere else. @mike Why don't you give us an official MakeMKV wiki? We c...

Re: 1.7.5 DTS-HD MA decoding
Hey, seriously: Can anyone please tell me what I would need to change/add to my conversion profile file to make DTS-HD conversion to FLAC work? I assume something has to be done there, but maybe not...? I'm using the conversion profile I downloaded from here: http://www.makemkv.com/forum2/viewtopic....

Re: Feature Request:Flac Audio Conversion
@mike admin: How do you think to implement this? TrueHD seems to be open documented or at least reverse engineered for decoding. But nobody yet has cracked DTS-HD MA in the open source community and it seems that you have to pay thousands of dollar to get the specification for your software... Just ...

Re: Ripping DTS-HD and True-HD to LPCM
Thank you for this info... Totem is the standard media player on the GNOME Desktop on Linux and GStreamer its multimedia (codec) framework. But VLC shows me lossless DTS-HD MA as "lossless" sources and i get audio (same with Totem and mplayer) - and it differentiates between "lossless...

Re: Ripping DTS-HD and True-HD to LPCM
Oh, that's interesting. Does that mean that VLC, mplayer, and Totem (with GStreamer) actually don't pass out the full lossless HD Audio stream which is in my MKVs? I'm confused.SamuriHL wrote:First there's no open source dts-hd ma decoder available.
