[Version 1.10.6] Does not open BD 4K

Post by dom61 »

good morning.
I can not open the Bluray Disk 4K for the movie "Inferno".
I also decrypted the disk on HDD, and just select the "index.bdmw" file, Make MKV returns the message "I can not open the disk".
Is this problem solved?

Thank you

4K Blu-Ray discs use a copy-protection scheme called AACS 2.0 encryption which has not yet been defeated. Until it is, whether by MakeMKV or another party, you will not be able to back up your 4K discs.

Thank you for the reply.
We hope MakeMKV can be upgraded with the new decryption keys.

Sure, would be great, but defeating AACS 2.0 is not going to be like defeating standard Blu-Ray encryption, so I wouldn't hold my breath...
