Simple question: How do I find out if I already paid for the software and registered it?...nowhere on the makemkv.com site seems to allow this contact inquiry. Thanks

Check your mail program for an email from "avangate.com", which is the payment processor Mike uses. That is how the purchased key would arrive.
Otherwise, send an email to
support@makemkv.com with your information, and Mike can look it up.
