Can't install v 1.10.6

I got the message this morning that my previous version was out of date so downloaded the latest version for Windows and still keeping the message that 1.10.6 is too old. I've tried 3 times - any suggestions?

I have the same problem. Downloaded the latest version (1.10.6) again and reinstalled but get the 'out of date' error.
Edit - after entering the beta key on the announcements page it's working.

It wouldn't let me install it either until I paid $50 for it.
