I appreciate the pristine copy rules, but doesn't the discussion here (and elsewhere) point out the difficulties?

My request was for a sub output that could be read by the 'vast majority' of players. As the ability exists in other products, I thought that having a separate --as-universal-as-it-gets-- subtitle output would be helpful (invaluable) for us less-than-knowledgeable users when MakeMKV goes gold.

It was only a suggestion, and I realize that the next generation of players will (might) properly support the new improved subs, but again, there are millions out there that don't and are unlikely to.

Thanks to all that were willing to post and repost the work-arounds
Off to try and extract usable subs from the 110 Blu-rips so far, really confused as to how to get forced subs for all the recent movies that need them, but with luck the posted applications will tell me what I need to do.
