2 new options, new features :)

Post by franferri »

Thanks for this amazing tool and I want to ask you about 2 new feature.
Also extreme easy for the user, in the same way than the major software.

First: One option to convert to MKV but one specific resolution and audio quality. Then the software do the sabe but you can set the resolution (ex: 1280x768) and the audio quality (ex: MP3 VBR 192Kbps).

Second: One option to allow, create the mkv but knowing only the final size. It means than you allow to the user to set how much Gigabytes or Megabytes wants, the software will decide the reduction of quality. For example, reducing one 4G dvd film to 700Mb, you can move 2 splitters to adjust the video quality and the audio, then you can allow the user to move in a linked way, if you reduce the video, the audio will grow quality and the oposite case.

Congratullations and regards.

Both of your suggestions require an encoder. MakeMKV is not an encoder.

Perhaps a project like Handbrake would be more suitable to your needs.
