I'm very new to this so I am sorry in advance if this has already been covered. This is an excellent program and meets my needs 100% so I bought a licence straight away. what would happen in the event my computer died and I either needed to re-install Windows or use another computer. Can I just use my licence key on the new computer? I only intend to use it on one computer at a time. will I be able to use the same key on the new computer or would I need makemkv to issue another?

this is only a hypothetical my computer has not died yet but isn't too healthy either

the licence says only one computer at a time so that is all I would use it on

I'm sure someone has had to transfer their licence to a new computer at some stage due to an old computer dying

I would appreciate anyone’s advice

Kind regards
gkddan
