If you're unable to live without MakeMKV for just a few days, perhaps you should consider buying a licence code that never expires:

i was going to buy it tonight actually, and then i balked at the asking price - almost 50 british pounds!

whilst i agree that is is a fantastic piece of software, if it was more reasonably priced, i'd buy it this very second. as it stands, it's too expensive whilst it's still in beta, hence the 'free while in beta' serial request that i'm looking for...

It's the price of 3 or 4 blu-ray discs, I think that's pretty cheap.

Anyway, I guess you'll have to wait till Mike gets on the forums to update it.

cheers setarip_old - unfortunately, that key is now showing as expired which is the reason why i started this thread in the first place. it's no big deal, as i just set my clock back a day while i rip a few discs.

appreciate the reply though! :)

I guess you didn't do as I suggested - "And make sure to read the last sentence there" ;>}

Just check that link periodically (perhaps twice a day), to see when the new beta key has been posted
