1.8.8 > Enter registration key > Can not paste key

Hi Mods,
I have 1.8.8 installed and am trying to "paste" the new key into the "Enter registration key" form.
Paste is not available as an option.
Are you able to advise a workaround?

I've since rolled back to 1.8.7. Updated the key successfully. I'll continue using this version for the time being.

Please try installing 1.8.8 now - the key should still be valid.

What do you mean by "paste is not available", is it grayed in menu? What happens if you press Ctrl+V ?

Yes, have since reinstalled 1.8.8.

Problem, I believe, was: the prev key had run out on 1.8.7. I then upgraded to 1.8.8 without updating the key.

When I started 1.8.8 - I received the "evaluation key is out of date" message. When I went to paste the new key in - the form was greyed out and Ctl+V didn't work either.

As per my earlier messages - I rolled back to 1.8.7, updated the key and then did the install of 1.8.8.
