Failed to open disc

Hi,

I am trying to convert an iso to mkv files with makemkvcon, sadly im an receiving error "DEBUG: Code 233

What is wrong?

Command: /usr/bin/makemkvcon -r mkv iso:"s4d1.iso" all ./

How was the ISO created? What happens if you access the original disk directly?

I don't know how it was created. But I can play the two episodes on the disc through VLC.

The problem is that there can be any number of issues with an ISO file. If it is a direct copy of the BD, no removal of copy protection, it SHOULD work just like the original disk. If someone removed the copy protection from it... it's no longer exactly like the original, and there is no guarantee that MakeMKV can read it.

Okay, thank you for your response. strangely handbrake can read it just fine.
