v1.10.6 - Titles are displayed out of order

Post by drbuckingham »

When opening a BD with playlist obfuscation (for example "The Wall"), the titles are displayed out of order. Here is a snippet of "The Wall" as an example:

File 00271.mpls was added as title #234
Title #00271.mpls(1) has length of 913 seconds which is less than minimum title length of 1800 seconds and was therefore skipped
File 00146.mpls was added as title #235
File 00180.mpls was added as title #236
File 00423.mpls was added as title #237
File 00548.mpls was added as title #238
Title #00548.mpls(1) has length of 913 seconds which is less than minimum title length of 1800 seconds and was therefore skipped
File 00949.mpls was added as title #239

I recently moved to Linux full-time from Windows. In the Windows version, the titles are listed in order of the MPLS file name making it easy to find a specific playlist; however, in this Linux version it requires cycling through them one by one to find the specific MPLS that is desired (for instance, 00273.mpls was title #363).

By the way, I am using a paid version and I am a big fan. Keep up the awesome work!

MakeMKV has a tendency to list titles in the order they appear in the disk directory, which is NOT necessarily sorted in file name order. Some publishers often use out-of-order directories, while most do them in order.

There is also the Java playlist obfuscation stuff Mike added in recently; titles will be prioritized by "main feature" and other criteria.

But those should happen in all versions, not just the Linux version.
