I'm running 1.10.10 on Ubuntu 16.04. I'm trying to read "Ghost Rider Spirit of Vengeance" and every time I get "Fatal error occurred, program will now exit" while processing the BD+ on 00003.mpls. I have java 1.8.0_151 installed and have never seen this error before. This is with an internal LG reader.

I have remove the .MakeMKV directory and that didn't help. I enabled logging and it still fails, of course, but here is the log file:

Found this in dmesg:

[ 366.985491] makemkvcon[7550]: segfault at 8 ip 000000000060b26d sp 00007fdcbaae9e30 error 4 in makemkvcon[400000+5ba000]

There's a giant crash file in /var/crash/_usr_bin_makemkvcon.1000.crash
I can upload it, but it's half a gigabyte compressed.

I looked at the disc under a lamp, and it's pristine. Not a single scratch, even a tiny one.

This probably warrants an email to support@makemkv.com to get Mike's attention sooner. He can let you know what additional information he needs.

I have emailed support, thanks. I am a paid user and I think it's great that I can use it on the Mac and Linux with the same code.

I decided to install JRE 9 and that appears to have fixed the problem, so I guess MakeMKV doesn't like OpenJDK 8. Now I just have to figure out which of the 4 tracks is the correct one.
