Application failed to initialize

OSX 10.11.5
makemkv 1.10.2
Never had an issue and started receiving this error message.
Restarted the mac, downloaded and installed 1.10.2. Same error message.

Do you have antivirus software installed?
Sometimes antivirus programs will give a false positive on parts of MakeMKV (this happens more on Windows than OS X), and it stops the program from starting.
Check the AV logs, if you do.

I'm having the same issue, and I've never had an issue before. I also do not have anti-virus. Please help!

I downloaded the latest version running OS X 10.12 Sierra and had no issue, but I had no previous issues with 10.11.5.

I found out the issue with my software. sdkretschek are you by chance getting a Coretelephony Trace File Error? If so, you need to clear this out before MakeMKV will work.

Where is the trace file error and do you simply delete the error file or delete the core telephony references within a trace file.
