I believe I had no issues in the past, but with the latest version it's 100% FATAL ERROR upon closing the app. I don't have optical drives and didn't install daspi. The log is quite uninformative:

Debug log started at Sat Aug 26 08:16:56 2017 , written by MakeMKV v1.10.6 darwin(x86-release)
Using 524544KB for read cache.
001005:0000 MakeMKV v1.10.6 darwin(x86-release) started
001004:0000 Debug logging enabled, log will be saved as /Users/me/MakeMKV_log.txt
005042:0000 The program can't find any usable optical drives.
Application exited at Sat Aug 26 08:17:04 2017

Is there any additional information in the MacOS crash logs?

Nothing interesting at all. Also it doesn't look like it crashes. More like just shows the "Fatal error occurred, program will now exit" message. Other than that I registered no anomalies. I thought it could be related to mySIMBL, but turning it off or adding MMKV to exceptions makes no difference. Oh well.. Just keep it on record then.
