If MakeMKV is quitting when you haven't told it to, that usually means the operating system shut it down. There should be a pop-up saying that it was being closed, and logs to indicate why.

If you are asking for MakeMKV to ask "Are You Sure?" when one tells it to quit while the app is idle, almost no apps on my Mac do so today. That would be an unusual behavior.

If you are asking for MakeMKV to ask "Are You Sure?" when one tells it to quit while it is ripping a disc… well, it does.
