MakeMKV 1.7.0 is successful when dealing with the directory structures but
fails when dealing with a block device (either DVD or ISO files). Here is a resume
of what has been tried:

DVD -> MakeMKV -> Failure
DVD -> DVDFab 8.1.3.8 -> VIDEO_TS -> MakeMKV -> Success
DVD -> DVDFab 8.1.3.8 + Nero -> ISO -> MakeMKV -> Failure
DVD -> DVDFab 8.1.3.8 + Nero -> ISO -> VIDEO_TS -> MakeMKV -> Success

The logs of MakeMKV and DVDFab have been attached to this post.

Hi!

If you haven't already tried this, perform the same sequences BUT DON'T MOUNT the .ISO image file - just load the .ISO image file directly into MakeMKV...

Yes, this has already been tested. It is the third case.

Can you please make a testdump per instructions at http://www.makemkv.com/onlinehelp/testdump.html . It might fail as well, in this case please at least sumbit all IFO files from the disc.

Using MakeMKV v1.7.1,
- The ISO image is ripped successfully.
- The DVD still fails.

Have you sent the new logfiles and testdump made with 1.7.1?

The problem is still present with 1.7.4.
