Post by ajesquivel77 »

Ok So new update.... I ripped a new file to with mkv and opened the source (kung fu panda 3 blu-ray) in handbrake.. picture and audio were both fine (in preview) once the file is finished picture is great but no audio still....can anyone help with this?

Running a Mac Mini 3 GHz Intel Core i7 Brand New and dont have any issue watching the other movies. Is there a setting a need to switch?

What are you using to check the file? There are a LOT of players out there that do not understand some of the modern codecs used on BDs, and they will have "no audio", even though an audio track exists. Some are simply trying to send the data to an external decoder, such as through the HDMI cable, rather than playing it.

VLC understands a lot of codecs; does it say there is "no audio"?
