Hello, Admin:

Please be aware that "Logan" blu ray has no FTU. I've already sent the dump file to support@makemkv.com.
Please check and please update.

Best Regards,

Vincent

Others have reported successfully processing Logan over a month ago, both the North American and EU versions.

Do you allow MakeMKV to connect to the server for updates? Preferences->General.

I have the update enabled in general and I still get the message. Tried once yesterday and one time today.

I received my prelease copy of Logan yesterday and it has release date 2017-07-17 here in Sweden. It might differ from the other EU version?
My copy is the scandinavian version (swe, dk, no and fi) and I have sent the dump file to the support email address.

Edit: I have tried to rip the disc and it works, but I get the image errors (BD+) during playback.

I have checked these options and still cannot get Logan BD (US rental) to rip properly. I have also tried other ripping products (AnyDVD, DVDFab) and they all experience a similar issue. About 21% of the way through the rip, I see an I/O error on the blu-ray drive. This is the exact error from MakeMKV:

makemkvcon64.exe - Device Timeout

The specified I/O operation on G: was not completed before the time-out period expired.

Cancel Try Again Continue

The MakeMKV log console shows:

Saving 1 titles into directory S:/Blu-Ray Rips/LOGAN

That has nothing to do with FUT errors - you have a defect in the disk that cause the drive to time out when you hit it. If cleaning does not fix the issue, you would need to get the disk replaced.

I was able to rip Logan a couple of months ago. Has something changed?

I want to report that I have successfully ripped my blu-ray version of Logan.
Thank you for a quick response!

I guess that makes sense since it stops about 20% in. The disc is flawless so I wasn't expecting that. I have tried it in 2 different drives on 2 different machines (1 PC, 1 Mac) with the same outcome. I will get a replacement and try again, thank you!!
