I've already submitted the dump file to support@makemkv.com.

Hopefully they get to this one soon. Been waiting for this to come out!

What exactly does the FUT error mean? I got the same error but there were still 2 files available to rip, one was 27GB(?) and 2 hours and 2 minutes while the other was 5GB(?). Am I just ripping a bad playlist that's going to not be the movie all scrambled?

After ripping it the video playback is randomly pixelating all over the place throughout the entire movie like the wrong P-frames are being used. Audio soundtrack unaffected, so must be just a new video scramble DRM scheme.

Tried ripping with MakeMKV today and can confirm getting the same " BD+ code processed, but no FUTs were obtained..." error message and randomly pixelating MKV movie file was generated.

That's pretty much the expected result when you get an FUT error. Once the update for the new encryption, it will download the updated SVQ file and decode the disk without issue.

You'll know it's updated when it doesn't reference the 'generic' SVQ, but rather downloads a disk specific one. Users are also pretty good about posting in here once things start working.

Can we download the new updated SVQ file to run on a system that is not connected to the internet?? That is download the file and patch the newest version of MakeMKV manually??

Edit -- I found on the forum that it can be downloaded manually if needed.

I downloaded the manual svq file, but it still gives the error. How do I know if the svq file just isn't new enough to fix the problem, or if the program just isn't recognizing and reading from it? When I run the program, it says reading from builin/generic.svq. I put the downloaded file dsall.svq into the directory with all the other svq files. Do I have to force it to use that one? Something else? I also emailed the dump already.

You have the answer. If it says it's using the generic, then it's not addressing this specific disk. You'll have to wait until they update it.

For what it is worth, additional information on FUTs, BD+, and SVQ files is found here: /svq/

It does seem like the patches take a lot longer for the new SVQ's lately. This one is 5 days out and still no update or response.

Having the same issue as previously pointed out with retail US version of movie.

Dump file sent in as well, in case another dump file is needed to determine the issue.

Hopefully it can be resolved soon.

Thanks Mike for all your hard work to address issues in a timely manner

Mike works at his pace as has been stated often, sometimes patches come soon, sometimes later, but they do come. It's only been 5 days since first reported submission and this thread began, patience may be in order.

I can't speak for the others, but I purchased this software and I am a paying customer. At some point you have an expectation of a service level agreement. It's fairly standard for support and I don't believe too much to ask. It's all too often you see other solutions with patches available within hours. I don't expect hours, nor do I expect same day, but I do expect some sort of effort or response after a day or two if there is some sort of problem, or if we can expect that a solution will be delayed beyond 2 or 3 days. At least a response would be appreciated, or some standard to strive for. A single resource to obtain and provide new workarounds is probably not an ideal solution. Something I would call a single point of failure.

For those who haven't paid for this software, I don't see that they have any room to complain as they are using it for free and probably have for some time. The fact that he still offers it free for use is great, and all too rare, but I am not one of those users.
