How to: makemkvcon to ONLY discover BD movie tiltle?

Is there a way to determine the bluray title using makemkvcon (in Linux) without scanning the entire disc? For instance, `lsdvd` (technically a type of disc scan but not exhaustive) can return the title of the disc. I haven't figured out how to do this using of `makemkvcon -r info dev:/dev/sr0`. However, if I use makemkv graphically, it's able to determine the title immediately. Is there no way to do that from CLI? If not, how come? Is there any other tool that can do this?
