Hello,
I've got some trouble ripping my blurays but I dont know where is the problem.
The following error Message appear:
This disc uses newer version of AACS protection. Please ...
but the Disc has AACS v31 its old from 2013.
This happens not every disc, but when I restart makemkv or reconnect the drive sometimes it works and the rip begins. (Its an Verbatim 43888 Pioneer BDR-US04 V1.14)
Maybe the drive starts to fail or is this software related ? Windows was updated to 23H2 and then the problem starts, but maybe that's a coincidence.

I'm guessing power issues that case is know to be a power hog you can try a high powered hub. Or plug direct in to back of motherboard not to front USB.

I changed the USB from Mainboard but sometimes it fails. Maybe I buy a powered Hub.
