Does anyone know which playlist is the correct one for the movie. There are like 60+. Track 57 is closest to the listed running time. Any help would be useful. Thanks in advance

I read on another forum its mpls 437 or 631 for the US br. Unknown for foreign br. I already tried ripping 437 (Angle 1) and that was jacked up with a mixture of behind the scenes stuff. Going to try 437 (Angle 2) and 631.

For me it wasn't playlist 41 but 437.mpls (angle 1) worked for me. It may vary between discs but if the chapters, segment count and map and total times match then should play fine.

I just finished watching it and all was good.

This is also weird. I tried to convert Three Musketeers 1993 and 2011. I completed the 1993, but not the 2011. I just can't...Image

@firionicable

Hi!

Regarding the 2011 "Three Musketeers" Blu-ray - Are you trying to perform a FULL DISC backup or a Movie-Only (MKV) backup?

I tried the file 00437 angle 1 1:50:32, also had t41 listed wheras 2 replies claiming success above mention the same 00437 angle 1, but one has t41, the other t34 listed. everything esle seemed to match yours, deleted all prev 3 Musk attempts first, and it still wouldnt play, when I try all I get is a picture of a Musical note and it say yhe recording is 302+ HOURS long. what am I missing.

PS, I'm a quick learner but really new to MakeMKV...used a HTPC for years between 4-10 yers ago and just getting back in it with a nice Assassin system. And I did read and search a lot first.

Thanks in advance

I'm having the same issue with the playlists, but my question is more of a general one: when something like this happens (when there are 50+ playlists), how do you determine you get the right one? Or is it just trial and error (and searching postings)?

I first go to the forum and search to see if anyone has come across the correct playlist. If that doesn't work then I check the run time. I pop the movie in the player and play it and check the exact run time. There usually is only 1 playlist with the exact run time. Some times though you run into a disc like this where the are several. Good luck

I have to post, for those that have the 'SPECIAL EDITION" of the Three Musketeers (2011.)

I tried all of the other suggested files/titles here and none of them were correct, (except for one, file 00437 / t43.mkv.)

This one had just the movie and in the right order, (on the Special Edition Blu-ray):

Name: Three Musketeers, The (English)
Source file name: 00437.mpls
Angle: 1
Duration: 1:50:32
Chapters count: 17
Size: 23.6 GB
Segment count: 45
Segment map: 140,131,165,132,8,147,164,170,137,6,151,161,9,163,166,187,139,128,144,2,145,1,4,150,186,134,156,142,154,157,182,125,149,158, 153,174,168,179,10,155,189,160,7,184,146
File name: Three_Musketeers,_The_t43.mkv

The barcode on to case was 2519213148 with a smaller number below the barcode (66121390) if that helps anybody?

I mention this because it looks like there were different kinds releases of this same movie, so I'm trying to be a bit more specific about my copy.
