Solo - Fatal error occurred, program will now exit

This happens every time I rip Solo UHD. I get through half of the movie and it gives the following error, "Fatal error occurred, the program will now exit." I have the UHD disk saved to the hard drive as I backed it up the first time it did this straight from the disk. It does it from the backup as ...

Re: UHD The Last Jedi failing at 27Gigs

Just an update, exchanged out the disk and all of the issues I was having went away. Definitely, some bad disks pressed by Disney out in the wild.

Re: UHD The Last Jedi failing at 27Gigs

Same here with the Last Jedi. I have ripped several UHD disks that I own to backup the disks, so I know both of my drives work fine. This one just seems to fail really consistantly. It was purchased from walmart, non steal box. I'm also having the same issue with Superman VS Batman, on both of my UH...

Re: Adding Keys?

I also have had success ripping raw UHD ISO files of movies that I made ISO files to back up. Now that I can rip the ISO files, into playable MKV's I'm a happy camper. Now I can put the UHD disks in the attic and keep them away from kids who like to scratch disks. Just need more Disney content! :)

Re: AACS 2.0 is cracked?

Does the decrypted ISO file still have an AACS directory on it? I remember Mike saying that, if there is no AACS directory, MakeMKV assumes that the disk is NOT encrypted. So, if the crack is "all it's cracked up to be", ... No, there is no AACS directory in the leaked UHD disc that I've seen. (And...

Re: Current situation of Dolby Atmos / DTS:X soundtrack

I was watching a Atmos movie when I realized the following: The Dolby True HD soundtrack has Atmos information within, however my receiver only displays Dolby True HD. I found some (quite old) forum entries here from 2015 which say that it is 'currently' only possible to rip the True HD soundtrack ...

Re: UPDATE ON UHD BD FOR PC!!!!

We'll need at least Intel Kaby Lake as it has SGX extensions. Older processors will not be able to decode 4K. Why would you need kaby lake to decode 4K? My GPU does it just fine (GTX 1070). All I need is to trancode into h.265 mkv files to back up and remove aacs 2.0. Any CPU should be able to do t...

Re: UHD Blu-ray

I got sick of waiting for my Amazon shipment, so I walked into Best Buy and bought "The Martian" 4K UltraHD Blu-ray. Tested on: LG WH16NS40 (recognized) http://imgur.com/SyXuM7i.png Obviously, I can't do anything beyond this yet. I am super excited to see that it works on the LG WH16NS40. This is t...

Re: The wish list for next MakeMKV version: 4K MKV

At best, upscaling will be slow. And, if you search the handbrake forums for "upscale", you'll see that it is a bad idea... You do NOT get additional detail by upscaling the source, you just get clumps of pixels instead of single pixels. The whole "get more detail by zooming in with the computer" y...
