Re: RED & RED2

Not sure if anyone has posted the correct playlist for RED.
Three letters words are difficult to search for. Red was released on Blu Ray on 1/25/2011 so you may want to look for posts around that date.

Re: Deepwater Horizon

This looks almost identical for what was mentioned earlier to use for the U.S. retail version. The only difference i see is the file name. The one mentioned was File name: Deepwater_Horizon-_t52.mkv. If i look for that file name the segment map is different. Is the file name something i have to wat...

Re: HiDPI support

I believe he’s referring to how the app appears on his “retina” display not the Makemkv output.

Re: JRE and obfuscated playlists

Yes. I saw that. I'm not getting any message when I open the disc so either I don't have Java set up right or makemkv isn't detecting the obfuscation. Hmm. I would lean towards Makemkv not detecting the obfuscation. Makemkv did not make a selection when Deepwater Horizon, Patriots Day and Stronger ...

Re: Hunter Killer (U.S.A) PLAYLIST

There is a procedure outlined for reporting incorrect detection , but few seem to see it or follow it. The most popular way to deal with it is to complain that the detection doesn't work. YMMV but I sent files early last year for Patriot's Day and Deepwater Horizon and the latest MakeMKV still does...

Re: New User

Sounds like you need to install the app, properly.
Once the package/folder opens drag the app to the Applications folder.

Re: "Fake playlist" protection - help needed

Protected playlist that the new logic is not working against. Man in an Orange Short. There are approximately 700 or so options listed with the smaller stuff filtered out, and no dump files that I saw. Any suggestions? You've asked this in another topic, perhaps it's a movie that may not as wide of...

Re: A Simple Favor (US Retail)

Folks, I'm not quite a newbie, but certainly no expert either. I'm attempting to extract the correct Title from this DVD. When I play it using Apple's DVD Player, it shows that Title 71 is what I want. When I open the disc in MakeMKV, I see "Title #71 was added (17 cell(s), 1:56:37)", but when I lo...

Re: Which Video Track?

Ahhh....looks like Apple has finally made changes to DVD Player in Mojave. Having a homemade Mac (Hackintosh) I purposely stay about a year behind in updating the OS. Here's what I was referring to: https://www.dropbox.com/s/zny21587xax0s8m/Screenshot%202018-12-13%2019.55.51.jpeg?raw=1 I don't have ...

Re: Which Video Track?

Apples DVD Player shows you which title it’s playing. Easier to see when it’s not in full screen mode, when the rectangular silver control panel (mimics an lcd screen) appears. You can click on Title to see the number then compare with the three that Makemkv shows. The only difference in the ...
