Re: Sealed Pioneer Blu-ray firmware
That does make sense, but I have seen on other places where people have MFD in mid 2023 that they could flash. Is the MFD just because it would be "almost" guaranteed, and anything after is a crap shoot? Did places like Amazon purge their stock, or would if be ok to play roulette with ama...

Re: MakeMKV, just BUY it already.....
I made this account just for this post. I'm waiting for the next beta key. why? I don't know about you people, but I personally don't have $60 to piss away for something that I can't justify the cost of. Being able to watch my DVD's without putting them in is nice, but if you think it's worth $60 n...

Re: Longshot with Pioneer BDR-209D
This might be a bit of a long shot, but I have a Pioneer BDR-209D made in December 2013. Below is the info from MakeMKV. I have a feeling this drive may be too old to flash to be able to read 4K discs. Can anyone confirm if it is too old or if it is possible to flash it and enable it to read UHD di...

Re: Sealed Pioneer Blu-ray firmware
Is there a way to check the firmware version on a Pioneer Drive when it's still factory-sealed? I found a couple for sale locally (not a retail store like BestBuy, etc.), but they obviously will not let me open and install them to see from the computer manager. if the build date on the box is befor...
