Re: NEW OPTION: 'UHD Friendly' Firmware Downgrade / Cross-Flash Using Official (Modified) ASUS Flasher for ASUS & LG Dri

I'm trying to flash an ASUS_BW-16D1HT which has firmware 3.10. I'm getting an update error number 4. Any ideas what is wrong? You must flash 3.10-MK first. Then, if you don't want to use 3.10-MK, you can flash whatever firmware you want. Grabbed the file and successfully flashed it. Many thanks for...

Re: Unable to read 4k discs lately.

I just downloaded the latest version of the software and my drive is now ripping 4K discs again. So there was never anything wrong with my drive, it is the software that changed. And changed back again apparently :D So for example I ripped Kingsman a year ago, couldn't rip it under the previous vers...

Re: Unable to read 4k discs lately.

OK can't be bad disc since I've tried it on numerous and the same error.

If it is a bad drive I don't understand why it can still rip bluray and DVD just fine?

Re: Unable to read 4k discs lately.

Firstly it was working fine on UHD discs just a few weeks ago. Now does not on any despite me reflashing the firmware, re-downloading MakeMKV and changing my DNS to Google. Still works on Bluray. I've tested on numerous UHD discs I've ripped before. It takes three minutes to get to : Parsing: /BDMV/...

Re: Unable to read 4k discs lately.

Same problem for me with ASUS BC-12D2HT, firmware 3.00. Was ripping UHD fine but just tried various and wont rip them at all. Works fine with Bluray. ? What error are you getting? Does the drive not read UHD at all like show no disk in the os. Some are also having problems with sdf and hk downloads...

Re: Why Do I Need a Beta Key to Rip DVDs?

No answer is also an answer. I don't mind paying for software at all, but what I don't like is a wishiwashi game like this. @Mike: no rush, I just went with Leawo Blu-ray Ripper. Better ratings, lower price. It is not a lower price though is it? You've just paid for a year and will have to do so ag...

Re: Beta key

What few are considering is the fact that, as a beta program, it changes on a regular basis to keep up with copy protection. The expiring key is intended to encourage you to check for newer versions. In the old days, new versions were issued more frequently than every 60 days, and new versions had ...

Re: Last version 1.14.2 not work.

Yes something definitely up. I managed to rip a bluray and DVD OK but was getting this message on startup of the program: LibreDrive firmware support is not yet available for this drive (id=F8B3C9080B22) My 4K friendly drive would not open the Mission Impossible Fallout UHD disk. So I re-downloaded ...

Re: Inconsistent File Size

Yes I am yet to see such a large variation in size on a single episode hence the post. But it all seems to be there so it is what it is.
