Thanks!

Hi, I bought MakeMKV several years ago, and it's in the top 10 programs you need to have on Windows, so kudos to the author(s). I apologize if I am indiscreet, but why keep it in beta for so many years? Like every complex program, a bug pops up of nowhere from time to time, but that never happened o...

Re: [Feature Request] Remove all audio and subs tracks at once

I found a better way: Use the following string:

-sel:all,+sel:video

in the default selection rules in the Advanced tab.

Nothing to do, and all the titles remain selected with BRs holding series.

[Solved] Remove all audio and subs tracks at once

Very often, BRs have a lot of audio and subs tracks, and generally you just want one. Currently (if I'm not mistaken), you have to disable the unwanted tracks one by one. It would be nice to have a button, or a function key, to disable every audio and subs tracks, so that then just would just need 2...

Re: How to do a full structure backup?

Right, my deepest apologies for this breach of the Net etiquette. :) You start MakeMKV, select the BR drive, and use the File -> Backup menu. Or click on the Yellow with a green arrow icon. And by the way, my deepest thanks to the makers of this incredibly simple to use software, I just bought it to...

Please disregard, I found it. Very simple indeed.

How to do a full structure backup?

Hi,

Is there a way to do a full decrypted backup, with the complete folder structure and menus?
I don't see a specific profile to do that.
I probably missing something very obvious...

Thanks!

Re: New password for February 2019

It helps the developer, which is a great thing, but it's not the topic of this thread, which is using the free version.

Patience being the key to freedom is a good point, and is a pertinent response. Asking people to buy is just OT.

Re: Suggestion: add subs

Yes, thanks, I'm already using MKVMerge to that effect.

But it's a 2-step process, and since it's something I do regularly, I feel like it would be an useful addition.

Suggestion: add subs

Hi,

Kudos for a fantastic software!

It would be nice to be able to manually add a subtitle track, either a BR sup one, or, better but much harder to implement, an SRT one with settings similar to those of the sup export within Subtitle Edit.

Re: Keeping Original audio with FLAC profile?

I had to remove: <description lang="ger">Als FLAC speichern (höchste Komprimierungsstufe)</description> The special character "ö" was preventing the profile to be loaded. I guess that cut & pasting somehow changed it into something invalid. Once that done, it's perfect. Thank...

Re: Keeping Original audio with FLAC profile?

Sure its possible, copy the default.mmcp.xml file to a new file (or just edit that one), and find the relevant sections and modify as such and then repeat for dtshd-multi and dtshdma-multi or whatever else, first output tells it dump flac out as the first track, and then copy the original track. I ...

Re: Keeping Original audio with FLAC profile?

I'm asking this to keep a backup DTS-HD or TrueHD track, in case a future change in hardware will make me need a full Blu-ray structure again. Making a BR from a FLAC track would need something like the DTS-HD encoder suite... I can do it manually, by demuxing the m2ts file with TSMuxer, and using m...
