Re: The Mule UHD not ripping

Just send the dump file to svq@makemkv.com so that the volume key can be generated.

Re: MakeMKV crashes after loading a disc or when opening settings menu

Just a guess, but did you happen to change the 'MakeMKV data directory' (General prefs tab) from the default of 'C:/Users/%USERPROFILE%/.MakeMKV' to a location you have no write permissions to? 'C:\Program Files (x86)\MakeMKV', perhaps? Aside from these crashes, you'd also lose user config data, etc...

Re: Select options

It's been so long since I set a custom selection rule that I had to go back & experiment... Right-click on '... disc' allows (de)selection of listed 'titles'. Right-click anywhere WITHIN any title allows (de)selection of contained tracks. I'm unaware of any 'single keystroke' method. IF you want Mak...

Re: Select options

Is there a way currently to have MakeMKV select all tracks, including the sub tracks such as audio, subtitles, etc. I know you can go into each title and drop down to select everything for the title, but I am looking for a way to do this for all titles with one keystroke. Right-click on '... disc' ...

Re: WH16NS40 Hash Check Errors

I am receiving the same error when I’m ripping UHD movies. I have the WH16NS60 and flashed it to firmware version 1.0. It’s installed in my Windows tower so no USB issues there. I was successfully able to rip Shazam, Us and Black Hawk down but Toy Story and Bohemian Rhapsody both failed. I thought ...

Has the generation of new keys by request been automated in a similar way or is it still a case of sending the file to the email and waiting for it to be added to the hash update?

Re: The Mule UHD not ripping

Anyone else having issues with ripping The Mule UHD? Purchased from Amazon and is the US version. I was unable to find anything in the latest hashed key file for it and did not come up with anything on my searches here. Also sent an email with the same attachments here. Any help would be appreciate...

Re: UHD FAQ

I'm a little bit confused. In this thread the key files are named as "both KEYDB.cfg and hashed keys are text files" or "KEYDB.cfg or as hashed key". But after I downloaded the file its name is "keys_hashed.txt". Do I need to rename it to "hashed keys" without extension before copying it to the Mak...

How were you able to resolve this? I'm on 1.14.4 and getting a "cannot decrypt the disc" message for Shadow Recruit and Patriot Games (2 of the 5 in the collection)
Different disc(s), same instructions...

In MakeMKV? If not, I'm afraid I misunderstood the question. Sorry.

In AnyDVD, the option would be 'Rip Video Disc to Harddisk...'.

So far using anydvdhd to rip to iso seems to work for me and makemkv is pretty straightforward.
Is there anyway to rip UHD disc to BDMV folders or its just a copy and paste thingy?
File > Backup

FYI Option unavailable for DVDs.

Re: Error when muxing 2 disc's to single file

Thanks once again @d00zaH, the append worked and I have managed to merge two discs into a single file. Now going to try deleting the credits etc at the end of the movie. My guess is that there are markers or the likes that contain them or otherwise perhaps cutting them out of the time frame somehow...

Re: [Feature Request] CLI - multiple selected titles

IIRC, this low-level functionality was requested/implemented so that users could write their own scripts, where the script itself was expected to parse the output & construct the desired (individual) command lines. If you are expecting higher-level functionality, I would bet you MAY be waiting a lon...
