on a mac, install homebrew (if you don't already have it installed...search for homebrew on google). then run this command in your terminal window: brew cask install adoptopenjdk/openjdk/adoptopenjdk8 once completed, open up MakeMKV and go to Preferences > Protection > Custom Java executable locatio...

since Java 8 is no longer available in homebrew, use the following command to install the jdk instead.
then follow blurayfan2019's recommendation. works great.

I just went ahead and ripped 800 and it appears to be correct. This is for the US UHD 4K disc from Amazon (came with 3D and Blu Ray). I have ripped both the 4K and BR and both seem to be 800.

Is it safe to assume the correct playlist is 00800.mpls?
