Re: The Book Of Life
My UK copy of the Book of Life 3D disc won't dump (the 2D disc dumps fine). It says not "FUTS" file found or whatever when it tries to use the generic BD+ code. I sent in the dump of it over three weeks ago along with the Japanese version of Ralph Breaks the Internet. The latter was working within a...

Re: Ralph Breaks the Internet
I'm happy to report the Japanese 4K disc from the 4K+3D+2D set now dumps fine.

Re: Ralph Breaks the Internet
I've got a 4K/3D/2D/DC version from Japan (the only country that got a 3D version of this movie) and the 4K version (which I want to move the Atmos soundtrack to the 3D rip) says the key is not recognized. It didn't ask me if I wanted to submit it, but I've got the .tgz file here. Do I send it somew...

Re: Ghosted Drive Icon on 2nd Rip in session (Mac)
Just a note here. Whatever the problem is with having to restart MakeMKV because of the ghosted icon (which thinks it's a data disc) to get it to work for another disc again, it's only with the Memorex drive. My newer Asus 4K friendly drive does not have that issue on the same computer.

Re: Source Code BR
This is horrible. I dumped the Atmos soundtrack from the 4K disc only to discover a scene changed interrupted the movie and not only made no sense (out of order), but screwed the Atmos soundtrack timing up as well. This is pure unadulterated utter God damned *EVIL*. I'm thinking just watch the damn ...

Re: Attention. Ver 2.1 protection out
I've just unpleasantly found this issue with my own 4K Fury I just bought (didn't know about it). The thing is that I don't even need or want the 4K video to rip. I just want the Atmos soundtrack to move over to the 2K rip for my KODI based NVidia Shield system (I have a 2K/3D projector but a 9.1.6 ...

Re: i, Robot Failure
I tried two different drives and it would exit with the same error, but when I tried using "backup disc" instead it dumped just fine (from there I could dump a MKV file from the backup folder). It was pretty strange.

Re: i, Robot Failure
I've been unable to rip this disc (3D/2D combo) with either of my drives (Memorex BD-R MRX-800LU) or LG/Asus "4K Friendly" drive. In both cases, it starts to rip and about 5 seconds into it quits and says, "Copy Complete 0 copied, 1 failed" with no other information given (No SCSI errors or failures...

Re: auro-3d question
The other is that MakeMKV is somehow altering the PCM when it extracts it into a MKV file. It wouldn't take much. I believe the encoding is stored in the least significant bit of the 24-bit PCM file. Any alteration to that code what-so-ever would destroy the encoding. Just to clarify, MakeMKV passe...

Re: auro-3d question
I'm not sure what BD the Auro3D disc was in question (link is long gone), but I have several Auro3D movies (with a Marantz receiver that decodes Auro3D) and for most of them, it's not an issue. They are embedded inside DTS-Master HD tracks (it's actually PCM in a DTS wrapper) and MakeMKV can extract...

Re: Ghosted Drive Icon on 2nd Rip in session (Mac)
Sorry to say that I'm not experiencing any of what you're describing on my Mac (Sierra 10.12.6, Pioneer BDR-208D-Internal, DASPI never installed). Have retraced your steps this morning with protected/non protected discs, allowing the discs to load prior to starting MakeMKV and vise versa and no ins...

Re: Ghosted Drive Icon on 2nd Rip in session (Mac)
I unloaded the daspi.kext and MakeMKV definitely came up in "OS Access Mode" instead. Unfortunately, it didn't make one bit of difference. It ghosted the icon (can't access disc) if I started MakeMKV first, same as before. Whatever it is, it's not DASPI that's causing the issue as far as I can tell....

Re: Ghosted Drive Icon on 2nd Rip in session (Mac)
I have to defer to people who own Macs to go beyond this point. When you installed MakeMKV, though, did it say it needed to install DASPI? Generally speaking, that should not be needed UNLESS MakeMKV says it is needed. It might be, but I thought El Capitan didn't need it. I really don't recall as i...
