Re: LG BH16Ns40 UHD Friendly

It may be fully bricked. If in the end not even the SDFTool can’t fix it as advised by Billy, move on and buy a new drive. And as we have advised countless of times by now in this forum, next time pay attention, to avoid going through this all over again.

Anyone? At some point you have to take the time and effort to read and learn what this is all about. As we all did. This is an online forum. We can provide the places where this information resides, but it's impossible for us to read it or learn it for you. It will take time and effort to research ...

Cheaper buying a new drive how? If I did end up buying one, however, which brand would you recommend? 1. Because you may have to end up spending a lot of time and/or money trying to find that “unicorn” of a drive from many places that claim to have/sell a “Region Free” PC drive. Which in reality, m...

Similar topic discussed here: https://www.makemkv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=23487 And as discussed there, you are attempting to go down a more difficult (and in most cases near impossible, less reliable, or more expensive) route in attempting to find such a drive for various reasons. Also as qu...

Re: LG WH14NS40 does not recognize discs after updating to the LG WH16NS60 1.00 firmware

Thank you again. I searched the forum for a few things, but I didn't succeed. Do you recommend by command line or by .exe? If so where to download the .exe? You were advise and warned about this and to read that guide in at least 3 different times already in your posts across the forum. Yet you sti...

For software player, look into JRiver . They also have their own very active support forum alongside their developers. For a second ripping software option, AnyDVD . Could work as a backup option for ripping media content. As well as removing/manipulating Region Codes on media content. They also hav...

Re: Ultimate UHD Drives Guide Updated 2020

It's too old to ever do UHD Ok, it appears you are confused. As it was advised above, no , it will not read/decrypt UHD content. UHD is just another acronym for 4k media content. Google is your friend if you wish to verify that. Flashing that drive will result in a bricked drive. If you still wish ...
