Re: Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse Playlist Obfuscation

Cool, so if I'm understanding all of this correctly, if I want to back up the regular version, it doesn't matter whether I use 00001.mpls or 00002.mpls. And if I want to back up the Director's Cut, I should use 00003.mpls. Is that correct?

Re: Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse Playlist Obfuscation

Thank you. Pardon my ignorance, but just to be clear, "listed stream elements" = "segment map"? Is that correct? If so, why would they bother having it on there twice? Just curious. Also, I noticed only one difference between 00003.mps and 00654.mpls. The former ends with 408 while the latter ends w...

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse Playlist Obfuscation

The VAM file is the Director's Cut, while the regular one is the theatrical release, but there are 2 VAMs and 2 regular ones. Does anyone know which file is correct? (FPL_MainFeature) 00001.mpls is 23.6 GB, 16 chapters, duration 1:56:50, Segment map: 370, 371, 372, 373, 374, 375, 376, 377, 378, 379,...

American Made issues

I'm trying to back up the American Made Blu-ray, but I keep getting error messages. The disc plays fine, so I don't think there's anything wrong with it.

Anyone else have any problems with this disc?

Yup, never mind. I'm an idiot. When I watched in full-screen mode, the issue went away. Typical ID10T error!

Re: I, Tonya black bars on all 4 sides issue

MakeMKV copies what is on the disc. Did you process the file after ripping it? Where exactly are you seeing something saying 4:3? Conversion software such as Handbrake have automatic cropping detection options. This movie starts with 4:3-ish scenes before going to the full aspect ratio, so if you p...

I, Tonya black bars on all 4 sides issue

I'm trying to back up I, Tonya for my Plex server, but for some reason, I'm getting black bars on all 4 sides. The aspect ratio is supposed to be 2.39:1, but it looks like the MKV file thinks it's 4:3. Anyone else notice this? Is there a recommended setting to rip it properly?
