Just posting to say thanks got my TOS today and had the same issue a roll back seems to be working now on Disc 1. Had to register but think I have used to the software enough to warrant paying.

Darkwater - make sure that your drive is plugged into the one of the first 2 SATA ports. I had this same problem at first. One final question I take it Windows updates won't update the firmware of the BW-16D1HT? Just want to make sure there is nothing I need to do to stop the firmware being updated automatically.

If you use the programs from the windows method, everything is automatic. It will automatically merge the firmwares. You just need to select the clean firmware and original firmware to combine. But the program does the work of combining. Then you just use the same program that was used to pull the ...

Thanks everyone, just did the reflashing of the drive and had a heart attack moment when my first attempt to flash the drive produced an error, tried it again and it completed successfully and now the drive is detecting UHD discs. next task is to figure out how to rip the commentary track from the B...

True 'geeks' dig that sh-t :shock: See if there is an available 'script blocker' extension for your browser. Enabling scripts AFTER the initial page load can help. From the post prior to yours... "After dumping the firmware, run BH16NS40_EEPROM_Data_Mover.exe, it will ask for your dumped firmware first, then for your clean firmware, and last, the destination and file name for your new merged firmware."
