I am having the same issue. This drive was working great before. I am currently running MakeMKV 1.12.2 on Mojave and firmware 3.10 on the Pioneer drive. Every once and awhile I can get it to use direct access mode. Anyone have an idea what is going on? Or how I can force MakeMKV run in direct mode? ...
