I am using tsmuxer 2.6.12.
There's yer problem... You need a specific/custom "04.06" version. It is linked numerous times in this very thread.

Re: Dolby Vision and 1.15.1

I'm tempted to order a Nvidia Shield which would arrive on Tuesday but I'm worried about the colour issue. I would only be ordering it for Dolby Vision films and if the colour issue isn't fixed, the device would be useless to me. Are there any other Dolby Vision devices on the horizon? Color issue ...

Re: Dolby Vision and 1.15.1

If you mounted the drive on your shield in settings - storage, it should just show up as a drive in Kodi It does not. I can see all my shares in "TV file manager app", but not in kodi's file manager or in any combination of stuff in "add source" in the attachments. :/ *edit* Also, MrMC sees the mou...

Map the share on the Shield (not Kodi), or copy a file to the local storage to test it first.
May be a stupid question, but how do you make kodi find the share, once mapped by the shield? I've been trying to figure this out for ages, and finally gave up and just copied files to my usb hdd.

Re: Dolby Vision and 1.15.1

Shield owners might want to take a look at this: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/fo ... ta-signup/

Not allowed to say what it contains though ;) :D 8)

*edit*: Also please remember this is BETA, so sign up at own peril.

Re: Dolby Vision and 1.15.1

Yusecope has mentioned in the past that he thinks when the Shield decoder encounters an unsupported profile (7 in this case), it will look at the raw video stream and fallback to a similar supported profile for playback. From testing with TS files in the past, the same video stream when stored as e...

Re: Dolby Vision and 1.15.1

1.15.2 is out :D But no mention of DV specifically. However this was not mentioned in .1 either... Fingers crossed "Muxer updated to the latest matroska specification" is the gold we've been waiting for :D Edit: Made a file and, as expected, no matter which player i used on my Shield it plays back i...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.

So I made some color comparison tests with my HDfury Vertex on the Shield and the Sony x700 which accurately play DV. Using the Vertex scaler, I removed the BT2020 flag from the RGB 8BIT Dolby vision signal and bingo!! the red push is gone. No doubt in my mind this is the problem. Shield RGB 8 BIT ...

Re: Dolby Vision and 1.15.1

Thanks for the command line for eac3to. Saves me the trouble of looking it up? Have you tried playing it in Kodi? I'd rather not have to use Plex as well. Kodi does not play DV right now, need to use Plex on the shield. Works with Kodi 19 alpha. Not here? (0606 kodi 19 alpha, makemkv->tsmuxer files...

For Dolby Vision + Atmos: Here's my success story for Gemini Man 2019 which is a 60fps movie which plays much more fluent. I'm using Fedora 31 Linux but I've also posted windows links Tools: - ffmpeg - compiled from latest git (Windows build: https://ffmpeg.zeranoe.com/builds/) - yusesope - tool V3...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.

Profile 6 is a deprecated standard, so you're not going to find it in the latest dolby docs. The difference between 4 and 6 is in its backwards compatibility ID (SDR for 4 and HDR for 6). Purely specs-wise, the video tracks generated from yusecope's tool and makemkv should be either profile 6 or 7 ...

Hello, a question to see who can help me, when the movie is in several m2ts, how can I extract the BL and EL files to mount with the tool?

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.

A few (stupid?) questions: dvhe.04.06 is to be understood as a Dolby Vision (dv) HEVC (he) 10 bit 4K 24fps (06) file, with a 1080p MEL or FEL (04) right? And dvhe.06.06 should not exist according to https://www.dolby.com/us/en/technologies/dolby-vision/dolby-vision-profiles-levels.pdf ? But as i gen...
