Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.

@box4m I had the CCWGTV for only a few days and it did play FEL MKVs in PLEX but the problem was that if you FF/RW/resume, the EL went out of sync. Also, it defaults to LLDV instead of regular TV-LED. it was a while ago, so it may have been fixed by now. Thank you My TV can not do TV-LED DV anyway ...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.

it depends, if EL really makes picture 12bit, than it's useless everywhere, since there are no consumer 12bit panels. Then all profiles are the same, since they show BL+RPU there is no benefit of using yusecope's tool, if you are creating DV file with mp4muxer. how else do i merge BL+EL? if i use m...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.

what will i get if i run mp4muxer and create a profile 5 mp4 with BL+EL+RPU from yuse tool? It plays fine but what am i seeing :P? BL+RPU cause its profile 5? the filesize and bitrate is more with BL+EL+RPU even though its profile 5 so i guess placebo can make it look better :p it depends, if EL re...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.

I use my m9702 daily, with that said, it is far from perfect. If KODI or Plex could ever play dolby vision bluray rips to my TV we;;, life will be much better. with that said, we are far from that day. never gonna happen.. It's already happened :P the Ugoos AM6 Plus plays profile 7 dv rips in kodi ...

am i correct when i say 59.94fps + DV is beyond HDMI2.0b standard?
no you are not.
no playback issue on bluray players. My x700 play that movie at 60fps in DV+ Atmos + subs just fine.
ok, interesting. BL+EL+RPU or stripped of EL?

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.

Weird question i guess but, anyone know of a player for androidtv/shield that can either playback 23.976p movies @ 24p, speed them up.
Or if you know of an application that could speedup the video and audio without stripping the DV data?

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.

your powerful CPU means nothing if program uses only one thread. Since it is run from CMD, then most probably it is. AFAIK you can create an mp4 with TrueHD, but I am not sure any existent player can play TrueHD from mp4. That's why people are using tsMuxer to mix output from yusecope's tool and Tr...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
