I get the same error with Avatar blu ray. doesn't look like anyone helped you out here. did you solve the problem?

Hi Setarip, thnx for reply. the disc looks very clean. I've also had no luck after cleaning/re-ripping 3 or 4 additional times. after reading your post, I checked again (with more careful eye) and started another rip; approaching 50% mark shortly. just not too hopeful at this point. I'm ripping straight from blu-ray drive (lite-on isbh112) to hdd using makeMKV 1.5.8 beta. IO preferences set to default. I get to exactly 50% and the operation then fails. It seems to roll back, deleting all work that was completed and i'm left with a 488mb file. It looks like the movie that plays ...
