Re: "Fatal error occurred" with upgrade to 1.7
1.7.1 is working for me under Win 7 whereas 1.7.0 did not which is why I assumed it got fixed now for everybody. Apparently it's not.

Except for PGS subs, MKVs work fine for me on the LIVE-S. Your problem might be related to this.

REQ: Auto-create target dir
Despite having set MakeMKV's default destination setting to auto, I'm still asked every time if I want to create the target inside the main video folder. Would be nice to have an option to autocreate this dir (though I'd still prefer being able to name the mkv itself). I'm currently adapting my Mult...

Re: Request: Change order of audio and subtitle streams
Of course they should. But since they have a LOT of other bugs to fix (first), it's more likely to be fixed by Mike since he said, adding compression would be easy.

Re: Request: Change order of audio and subtitle streams
just put the no. 1 in the field "order weight" of the track that should be the first, 2 to the second and so on, then it seems to work. Same here though it's a bit clumsy. Why not also be able to drag and drop the streams at will? And what about setting default/forced flags under properti...

Hopefully Mike will implement this when he adds stream reordering.

Re: Feature Request:Flac Audio Conversion
Mike, I know this is perhaps asking for a lot, and you may have seen the request before, but how would you feel about putting a list together of the features/requests that you accept as future improvements for Makemkv, and perhaps just indicate those that are being looked at for the next ?/release?...

Re: Question About makemkv's subtitle flag setting....
Mmh, when I open a file done with MakeMKV in MKVToolnix it says default flag "yes" instead of "default". And yes, these flags are confusing.mike admin wrote:MakeMKV sets the "default" flag for a first subtitle stream.

Re: Request: Change order of audio and subtitle streams
In the meantime, you can use a tool to re-order the audio and/or subpic tracks of a batch of MKV files, based on their language codes. It is called PopCorn MKV ReMuxer It does zip up the subs so they work on the LIVE SMP but it does not reorder the streams for me. I've selected which tracks to pres...

Re: Subtitles on LG 550
Nice catch! And it shows in Mediainfo too: MakeMKV: Text #1 ID : 6 Format : PGS Codec ID : S_HDMV/PGS Codec ID/Info : The same subtitle format used on BDs/HD-DVDs Language : English Default : Yes Forced : No MKVToolnix: Text #1 ID : 6 Format : PGS Muxing mode : zlib Codec ID : S_HDMV/PGS Codec ID/In...

Re: Filename
I also think it's weird not to have it the usual way: use a proper filename instead of a folder name with a title.mkv inside.
Why not use the BD's parent directory filename by default? Well, gonna try advanced mode as soon as 1.7x is fixed.

Re: "Fatal error occurred" with upgrade to 1.7
Same here on Win 7 64 bit. My registered version locks up after "operation successfully completed" and all streams are listed. Now I'm back on 1.6.16 and the same Blurays (previously ripped with DVDfab) open flawlessly. Sucks big time for me cause I wanted to make use of conversion profiles.

Re: Subtitles on LG 550
Same with WD TV Live SMP: the subs are there and recognized as being there by the player but not displayed. Even cycling through them doesn't make a difference. The same file plays back fine with subs on VLC. To enable subs you gott remux the file with MKVToolnix. Apparently something is not properl...
