Re: John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum

September 9/15, RB version, "John Wick 3- Parabellum_t134.mkv" is not the correct segment map
The "_t134" in the file name can change, depending on what the minimum length to rip is set to. The important thing is the match the "Source file name:" value in selecting.

Re: The Martian - will not rip with any subtiles

"None will be added INTO the movie" MakeMKV will only put the tracks you select into the MKV file. Adding them to the displayed video requires that your player be compatible, OR that you use post-processing to "burn them in". It's been a while since I ripped TM, but the MKV file that resulted had tw...

Re: v1.14.5 problem?

The test would be to re-install 1.14.4, and try ripping one of the disks that has been a problem. You can have multiple versions of MakeMKV installed at the same time (I have 3 right now), so long as you keep the shortcuts straight. I'm not seeing a difference in the files between .4 and .5, but I'm...

Re: VirusTotal identiy Trojan

Does it report the same SHA256 signature for both? Virustotal is not 100% accurate; few scanners even approach that. It also runs different tests based on whether your upload or provide a URL (not all providers accept URLs). However, it is a good first step. I assume you have a particular virus prog...

Handbrake issues are best handled on their forum. They will want the activity logs from the encode in question, before any recommendations can be made.

"Identified by MakeMKV" - at what point?

If you expand the title as shown in the topic on using Expert Mode, are there 3 separate tracks there? At all tracks selected?

Re: Paul (2011) searching for playlist order

I only have the DVD version, ripped back in 2014, so I can't comment on the BD version. But there was nothing special about play lists on the DVD. MakeMKV won't construct a movie out of segments unless there is a play list on the disk that ties them together. Universal hasn't been one of the studios...

Re: Manufacturing Defects as Protection?

Deliberate defects have been a form of "copy protection" since the days of CDs, which expanded with DVDs to include deliberate unreadable sections of the disk that a copy, done to a recordable disk, would not have. It proved to be rather useless in preventing copying, once the video playback was no ...

"Play list order"? The movie Paul was published before play list obfuscation was being done.

Do a search here for "context menu". Or even "unselect".

Then do a search for "lionsgate".

If you lost the original email from 2co.com, email your information to support@makemkv.com and Mike can take care of it.

That sort of support isn't done via the forum, for privacy reasons.

Re: installing makemkv, explorer won't refresh anymore

Unfortunately, blindly resetting folders would not work for me - I have too many of them with customized views. Decided to try to find the registry key that "reset defaults" might touch... In the first few google hits, over a dozen different registry entries that may or may not be present were recom...

Re: Too many titles

That would fall under a feature request, which you can make. That information is in the Info window for the selected title, but the list doesn't have it.
