Re: Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 1 - US Retail (title)

Thanks, Woodstock. That's a clever method. I'll have to investigate to see if there's a Mac trick to accomplish the same thing. I've probably just got to set up a little bash shell to do it.

Re: Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 1 - US Retail (title)

. The messages are just letting you know that MakeMKV is fixing them. A few of the errors were about a frame and a half, although most were within a frame. That's just on the edge of being able to see a lipsync problem. Given the hundreds of choices on this particular disk, is there one that should...

Re: Feature Request: HD-DVD Pulldown Removal

Whilst you are waiting for MakeMKV to sort this out (and I can fully understand why it's not their top priority) you can strip these out of existing MKV files (or direct from the HDDVD itself) using ClownBD or HDBRStreamextractor, and then remux the streams back into an MKV file. I appreciate it's ...

Re: Feature Request: HD-DVD Pulldown Removal

Any further thought on this topic? I've tried every setting I can on my WD TV Live. I've tried every Handbrake detelecine trick I can find. I've looked all over the web to no avail for tools to strip these pulldown flags. It seems to me that the developer(s) for MakeMKV are more than sufficiently fa...

Re: MakeMKV creating incorrect frame rate mkv.

As of SVN revision 4220, the HandBrake nightly builds take pulldown flags into account when detecting the nominal framerate (which was already being done for MPEG-2 in MPEG Program Streams, but has now been extended to all codecs and containers). It will be available in tomorrow's nightly. I'll be ...
