Re: New LG

Some adapters/enclosures fail in this regard. Any chance of temporarily connecting to an internal SATA port?

Or one of the 'professionals' might be able to recommend some adapter/enclosure options that are better behaved?

Re: WH16NS40 old model bricked - N00b mistake :(

So at this point I will share more details/updates. I think I may have found an old post with the original firmware. I also found the firmware extractor tool and extracted what could be the original firmware. I am unable to flash any of them as they all tell me that " CheckSum is mismatched. Drive ...

Looking for more documentation on the Selection Rules. Does anyone know if/where they might be? Looked for them in the online help and the FAQ to no benefit.

Re: Better multiple drive ripping support

Hi, Right now, if you open up a first instance of MakeMKV, put a disc in and start ripping, then open up a second instance of MakeMKV, they then fight with each other trying to access the same drive. This reduces the ripping speed of the first instance to 0.0x and the second instance takes ages to ...

Re: Alien 40th Anniversary 4K - volume key unknown

Uncertain, but would imagine similar limitations apply to email attachments. Upon reflection, I would expect a file transfer to be less restrictive than via an email attachment

Re: Alien 40th Anniversary 4K - volume key unknown

Realistically, automatic submission would be easier for Mike, but... Imagine some Antivirus company deciding that OUTBOUND transmissions of unknown data to a server located in a foreign country constitutes malware. It does happen, for just about everyone except Microsoft's "telemetry data". MakeMKV...

Re: Bricked WH14NS40 NS50 with DVDFAB

Just tried to resurrect the drive. For my win 7 system with ide enabled, It won't allow the system to boot when it is hooked up with the sata connectors. This is also true with the win pe system I put on a thumb drive. I am sure the drive is kaput. Both os's work well without the drive hooked up. T...

No media to test, but probably no based on MYCE thread. It discusses which players are currently are having positive results.

Re: Product Expired?

I've found that I've been using MakeMKV more and more often than the others, so I decided to purchase this go around. It's been over an hour since I've paid. Maybe I didn't do something I was supposed to, but the code hasn't been instant. Have you checked your SPAM folder? Sometimes filters are ove...

Re: Just downloaded this morning but getting application version is too old error

No beta key any longer? It's April 2, last key expired March 2019. Be patient. This has happened every ~2 months for ~10 years. The beta key will expire sometime around 'the end of' the stated month' & MIke will update the 'free while in beta' announcement, usually within a week of the key expirati...
