Wowzer, that was quick and easy and actually seems to have worked. Its on 1.02 now. Am seriously getting quite tempted to throw caution to the winds and buy a 4K movie to test properly.

Thanks very much. :D :D :D
You're welcome! Go for it!!!!

I should download a version from Mediaflare ?, extract it, run the A...

Re: Recommended drive for non UHD discs?

I have a couple WH16NS40 with original 1.02 firmware that I want to flash to get rid of the sleep bug. I plan to use those for my UHD discs. However, I have a few hundred regular Blu-ray’s I’d like to get ripped and with my schedule it’s better if I can start a bunch all at once instead of coming b...

Hi Marty, live in Melbourne. Looking for an external drive that will be compatible with iMac and rip my fast accumulating library of 4k UHD disks. Are you able to assist. Thanks

Not sure if I was to post here or PM you.

As in I've dumped the firmware from <a certain drive that did not have support> and wanted to clean the calibration data off of it before passing it out. Thank you! Here's the dump cleaner....

Re-econding of the video part to H.264 must be done within the M2TS stream files, I think there is no tool available to do this. An other problem can be (not sure) different structures, flags, features etc. between normal Bl...
