Re: New Hashkeys ?

Hi, So far, I have added the hash keys manually. How do you have to set this under the preferences that he always makes automatic updates of Hashkeys? You do not need to manually download keys anymore. Go to Preferences and in the General tab make sure to check the box for "Allow contacting web ser...

Re: Asus BW-16D1HT 3.03

You need to make sure that MakeMKV can download updates, or you have to download the latest SDF.bin manually. where do we get the SDF.bin from? I was curious too but a quick Google said http://www.makemkv.com/svq/sdf.bin and just stick it in the makemkv dir.... Just put a blu ray or UHD in the driv...

Re: Burn 4K ISO to non-4K blu-ray disc

Hi all, My apologies if this question has already been answered (I don't believe it has). My question is, am I able to burn a 24.3GB 4K movie ISO to a 25GB non-4K bluray disc and play it on a non-4K bluray player? Yes I know its a stupid question, I'm just curious if anyone has attempted this. Than...

Re: NEW OPTION: 'UHD Friendly' Firmware Downgrade / Cross-Flash Using Official (Modified) ASUS Flasher for ASUS & LG Dri

Apologies for demonstrating my ignorance but I've ordered a BW-16D1DHT this evening and so I thought I'd download the tool (from the rapidfire location on the first post of this thread) and ran the exe. Windows Defender claims there is a Trojan in the file (Fuery.C!cl) which it quarantined. Is this...

Re: UHD (Official) Friendly Drive - Archgon MD-8107S-U3-UHD (Powered by LG BU40N)

I have the Archgon MD-8170S UHD with the BU40N drive and have successfully flashed firmware to 1.00 from 1.01, however Makemkv will still show this error while trying to read a 4K disc: "Error 'Scsi error - ILLEGAL REQUEST:COPY PROTECTION KEY EXCHANGE FAILURE - KEY NOT PRESENT' occurred while issui...

Re: NEW OPTION: 'UHD Friendly' Firmware Downgrade / Cross-Flash Using Official (Modified) ASUS Flasher for ASUS & LG Dri

Understand, so on normal Blu-ray discs this should not happen I guess ? Offical for example LG WH16NS60 but on orginal stock firmware it will not rip UHD discs, after crossflash to be "UHD Friendly" does it will be still supported as "Official" for playing UHD BD discs via PowerDVD18, 19 ? The slee...

Re: NEW OPTION: 'UHD Friendly' Firmware Downgrade / Cross-Flash Using Official (Modified) ASUS Flasher for ASUS & LG Dri

I ripped Planet Earth II without any problems :D, thank you MartyMcNuts for your flasher. But what I noticed, I left disc in drive for longer time, and after that drive give weird sounds from it. Is it normal ? is it this sleep bug behavior ? Edit OK I read that's this cause by this sleep bug Does ...

Re: NEW OPTION: 'UHD Friendly' Firmware Downgrade / Cross-Flash Using Official (Modified) ASUS Flasher for ASUS & LG Dri

How's the updating failure #3 bug fix coming along? There is no fix. This is an enclosure issue, where it is not passing all the required commands through to the drive. Here's one, what error would come back if you were attempting to flash firmware 1.00 to a drive that already contained 1.00? Why w...

Re: Pioneer BDR-UD03 compatibility

@mostlife, Currently no Pioneer drives are UHD ripping comaptible. There are a few folk on here that do have some UHD friendly drives available for purchase, if you are interested, depending on your location. For USA, please contact @Billycar11 or @jonghotti. For Europe, please contact @asmcom. For ...

Re: Promotion By Asmcom BU40N with Vantec Enclosure $116.00

Most people look at the “active topics” so if you just inserted this as a comment in your “drives for sale”thread, that thread would automatically go to the top of the active topics list again.

You should only need the one thread for all of your advertising.

Thanks

Please stop creating new threads that aren't really warranted. This should just be added as a comment to your "main page"

Thanks.

Re: John Wick Chapter 2

Thanks @MartyMcNuts - I was able to copy the files over to the hard drive. When I go to use MakeMKV on the folder structure - it says it doesn't recognize the volume and drops a .tgz file out there - but when I did the optical drive, it recognized it.... Any idea what to do next? (I am hesitant to ...
