I was indeed using the latest version.

However I took it to another rig, and it defiantely worked! Most pleased. Annoyed it was my rig for some reason though.

Anyways, thank you for your help Marty.

Kind Regards
You're welcome!

Re: ASUS BW-16D1HT Installation for Mac Question

Ok, I picked up the Asus drive and the nexstar enclosure. Here is the information when I plug it into my mac: Screen Shot 2020-01-11 at 12.51.43 AM.png I saw in the main thread that if it's 3.10 I need to sidegrade before flashing? What are the steps to do that? I have access to a cheap laptop with...

Re: LG BP60NB10

If 1.00 should just work, why is there an MK 1.0 version in the firmware pack, and no it does no just work I can assure you. However I will now try it on multiple other computers. I used it with the computer I use to do drive flashes. As I said before, flash BP60NB10 1.00 MK with the ASUS flasher a...

Re: LG BP60NB10

Resurrecting a couple month old thread. I just got a BP60NB10 1.00. Am wondering how I flash it. I’ve done internals no problem. But the app just hangs at 0%. Is there some trick with slim externals you need to do? Thank you in advance for any insights. 1.00 should just work If 1.00 should just wor...

Re: Pioneer BDR-211M - update on UHD compatibility

Hello, Although this drive has been discussed earlier, I couldn't find an update on the status. Currently, MakeMKV (1.14.7) reports on the LibreDrive info: Might be supported in future, keep fingers crossed Can anybody give me some advice on whether or not this drive will be usable at some point in...

Re: NEW OPTION: 'UHD Friendly' Firmware Downgrade / Cross-Flash Using Official (Modified) ASUS Flasher for ASUS & LG Dri

My LG BU40N was 1.03 when it arrived. However I could rip a blu ray without modifying anything. AACS version was 65. Is this supposed to happen with official firmware? Anyway I upgraded my drive to 1.03mk now it's libredrive enabled. therefore it was not libredrive enabled. Yes, but you can't rip a...

Re: The Matrix and The Matrix Revolutions

I can't remember. Is that a 3 layer disc? Anyway, I think I had trouble with that one the first time. I switched drives and it ripped fine. Sometimes there are discs that a particular drive just won't read, no matter what you do. This is why most of us have 2 or more drives. If a disc doesn't read ...

It sounds like you are creating your MKV file without HDR or your playback software/hardware does not support HDR.

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.

It's possible that tvs will support both dolby vision and hdr10+ in the very near future. Is there a way to make hdr10+ work through mp4 mux like dolby vision? I checked the Alien 4k Remastered disc (an hdr10+ title) and it seems there is only 1 video stream (compared to usually 2 streams in a dolb...

Let him run makemkv and look at the result what it says about the drive. At $17 I guess it's a DVD drive and not a BD / UHD drive.
The BDR-212DBK is a standard BD/DVD/CD Writer. It doesn't work for UHD.
