Re: LG BH16NS55 Firmware

Here is a 1.01 BH16NS55 full dump I made from my original device which has always
worked on several similar devices (BH16NS55/Asus of other users).

Try it. (Of course you MUST use the DOSFLASH version I provided you, erasing eeprom first, and then writing the new firmware).

Re: Asus BW-16D1HT Firmware

@TeddyRaspin I tried your method it still does not work. Another solution? Did you try first MakeMKV hashed keyfile ? According to the log you posted, you're using an old AnyDVD HD version. Disc ID hash is calculated by software. It has nothing to do with firmware device, as any UHD disc has its ow...

Re: Asus BW-16D1HT Firmware

@barret70 Here are the attached zip file for you and the steps you need to properly downgrade, erase, and flash eeprom. 1) Prepare an USB stick with Rufus making Dos Bootable and unzip on USB root the attached file. 2) Disable CSM in bios or enable the Legacy Boot. 3) Disable any other SATA device e...

Now I can read UHD discs again.
Was this achieved using the programs in the zip file you posted over at the Redfox forums a while back + a dump of the original firmware?
Yes.

Re: Asus BW-16D1HT Firmware

Hi, does anyone have any information about the 3.03 just released? UHD or not? Thanks. Could you provide us a valid link for testing the 3.03 firmware version ? Edit: I've found it on Asus website (support page) and I've flashed it and I have to say few words: "Be Aware from 3.03". It fixed the AAC...

Re: Coming soon 50 plus UHD dumps from Canada uhds.......

You will have to wait for Mike to support them via hashed keyfile. (of course, if you already have provided good dumps to him).

Re: UHD support

No new keys today, maybe Mike is very busy to hashing a lot of keys.

I'll be waiting for his updates. I can't never thank him enough for what he's doing. :)

Re: Asus BW-16D1HT Firmware

I've tried 3.02 and reads UHD discs as before. With MakeMKV it is really faster than the BH16NS55 firmware and it has nothing to do with the AACS loophole.

Re: opening previous encrypted back up

In order to load the discatt.dat file he needs to decrypt disc first. If you open a protected ISO that file is not inside it.

Re: opening previous encrypted back up

It would be better to create again a decrypted ISO (if you're lucky with supported title inside the hashed keyfile) from the original bluray, but if you want to speed up ripping process, as you already have a protected ISO, you can simply mount it on a virtual drive (I suggest you Daemon Tools Lite ...

Re: Asus BW-16D1HT Firmware

Asus 3.02 clean firmware with flasher (to allow crossflash or easy upgrade from previous versions).
