Try using the previous version (1.12.2)
How does one access the previous version?

Re: The Dark Knight Trilogy - The Dark Knight Rises

Another attempt with different error messages. Again, if these error messages are stored in a file that I could attach and I knew where that file was,I would attach it. The message: "http://www.makemkv.com/errors/hashcheck/..." implies a failing drive. But this drive has only been used a few times. ...

Re: The Dark Knight Trilogy - The Dark Knight Rises

Tried again on another computer and got the following: (Got the same "upgrade your hard drive" message on my other computer and both use SSD, no hard drives. The drive I am trying to use is the ASUS drive. Frustrating!! Saving 1 titles into directory /Volumes/Movies/Next Up/The Dark Knight Rises 4K ...

Re: The Dark Knight Trilogy - The Dark Knight Rises

I will try to run again and capture all of the error logs but I did get about a bazillion of these: DEBUG: Code 2281701379 at 8#L6D"D`=7;p&.e`:213134837 DEBUG: Code 2281701379 at 8#L6D"D`=7;p&.e`:213134837 DEBUG: Code 2281701379 at 8#L6D"D`=7;p&.e`:213134837 DEBUG: Code 2281701379 at 8#L6D"D`=7;p&.e...

Re: The Dark Knight Trilogy - The Dark Knight Rises

I assumed that would be the case.

Isn't there a setting in preferences that allows the system to store the error log somewhere? I could not locate that so the best I could have done would be to copy and paste from the screen.

If I can set it up so it will capture the log I can then post again.

The Dark Knight Trilogy - The Dark Knight Rises

I am on my 2nd copy of this disc and still will not rip. I have used three different drives (ASUS and two different model number LG's which have all worked previously) and nothing works. The other 2 discs in the set rip without incident.

Any ideas?

Re: The Quick and the Dead 4K Dump

I am having the same issue. I can see the key file contains the code for this movie but the message say there is no code for it.

I guess I will wait and try again in a few weeks.

Re: Problems with two tracks, something I can do?

Hello, I ripped the Dolby Atmos Demo Disc. All small titles. Nothing special, no errors. All lossless viewing. I now have two titles (Horizon and Encounter for the ones that know the disc) that are stopping when playing. If I then switch to the 5.1 sound and back to the 7.1 sound everything is well...

MakeMKV and DVD-A discs ??

Should MakeMKV be able to rip DVD-A discs? I tried and got the following error:

MakeMKV v1.12.2 darwin(x64-release) started
Optical drive "BD-RE ASUS BW-16D1HT 3.00d" opened in OS access mode.
Using direct disc access mode

Error message

I have now tried to rip "Live Die Repeat"multiple times on two separate Macs and with two different kinds of (self powered) drives and all get the same failure. This is the message I get when clicking on the URL (see attached): "The IPC error happens when operating system (Mac OS X) suddenly "looses...

a "new MakeMKV instance" not working consistently (for me)

I must be dong something wrong. When I try to start up "a new MakeMKV instance" (on a Mac) it seems to try to connect to the drive that is already running with the first instance. It messes up the first instance and I have to close down the 2nd instance. It works sometimes so there must be an order ...

Re: MakeMKV Source: BD-RE HL -DT -ST BD-RE BE16NU50 1.01

My first LG drive had the version 1.01. I ordered an additional drive and it has 1.02. Will that work ripping 4K movies? Or do I need to downgrade firmware?

4K Keys on Mac Version of MakeMKV

I am a new and happy MakeMKV/Mac user but so far have only done about 80 BR's (all but one successfully - Episode 1 of The Hunger Games). I have a few 4K's I want to rip as well and have read their is a keys file I need to download and place somewhere on my system. (1) Where do I find the file to do...
