Re: How to select specific segment map / M2TS to create MKV?
Yes, but this takes a way to long for such small clips. I will post it as a feature request.

Re: How to select specific segment map / M2TS to create MKV?
Sadly there is no other title containing the single m2ts parts of the movie. I'm using a length of 120 seconds and the movie has three parts so at least one should be there, but isn't.

How to select specific segment map / M2TS to create MKV?
If a disc contains multiple relevant titles but differ only regarding their intros, it would be nice to create MKVs only for this specific segment maps. Is that possible?

@Auss1e.mkv
If you use DVDFab Player you can view the episodes and name them directly in MakeMKV before ripping the MKVs because it displays the playlist number through a menu. This is the fastest method I know.

Re: Batch / Command Line Conversion of SUP to SRT
I need to OCR the subtitles to SRT to avoid Emby/Plex transcoding while it burns in the subtitles. Not many clients are able to directly display graphical subtitles. For example my Samsung TV does not. With Kodi it's easier as it is part of the application to display an additional layer on top of th...

Re: Batch / Command Line Conversion of SUP to SRT
. The listing from MediaInfo shows (in JSON format display, mayve other works also) and Elementcount for each subtitle track. For DVD tracks this is in most cases the exact number of subtitles, for Blu-tray this should be divided by 2 to have a approx number of subtitle. Ok, but this looks to be mo...

Re: Batch / Command Line Conversion of SUP to SRT
How many of those .srt files do you need to manually correct after? I’ve found that for very small forced subtitles without any “unusual” words, Subtitle Edit is spot on. But throw in some place names or given names and it gets confused. Likewise, it likes to add spaces before punctuation. Which la...

Re: Nerve 2016 Correct Playlist
I have the German Blu-Ray. It contains two playlists. 00021.mpls and 00022.mpls. The correct one is 00021.mpls as this contains burned-in german texts like at timestamp 01:41.

Re: A Better Way To Find The Correct Playlist/Segment Map
If you view a Blu-Ray through DVDFab Player and use the playlist button in the bottom right corner it displays the MPLS number of the movie:
No need to monitor file access or fast play the movie. I think this is by far the easiest method.

Re: Verdammnis - The Girl Who Played with Fire (2009)
To save space? This depends on the player you want to use. For example Plex or Emby do not support playlists or direct BD playback. They would need both movies in total length in two different mkv files. If you use Kodi you could create a backup of the BD and then you could try to build a new BD (IS...

Re: [Feature Request] Selection counting for filename template syntax
This is how I solved this issue: I use this naming scheme in MakeMKV: {NAME}_t{M2} I change the name of the disc to "disc1" or "dvd1" etc. This will produce files as follows: /Showname (2019)/disc1_t01.mkv /Showname (2019)/disc1_t02.mkv ... /Showname (2019)/disc2_t01.mkv /Shownam...

Re: TV Series ePISODES
Two ideas: a) Open all discs in MakeMKV and compare the file sizes and episode length b) Rip them all again and compare size/length Its still much work, but should be much faster then manually viewing all episodes. I had the same problem with the last season of Lost and it was only one episode in th...

Re: Anyone tried DVDFab Enlarger AI?
Ok, last try. This time I used the DVD of "Prep & Landing (2009)". This movie was not released on Blu-Ray, too. And its only 21 minutes long. Again I created the ISO first. This time it worked with DVDFab11. I think it failed the last time because I had "PathPlayer" not activ...

Re: Anyone tried DVDFab Enlarger AI
Ok, it stopped the job without error message  I restarted DVDFab11 and this time I tried to create an ISO first. I thought it could maybe help to use a decrypted DVD as source. And again it stopped. So it is something wrong with my setup reading DVDs. As I was to lazy to find the problem (I kn...
