That's just the MKB version. That has nothing to do with it at all, no. Zombieland is using a protection that's only been used on 5 discs. Yours is not one of them.

That disc is not AACS 2.1 and is not related to the issues in this thread. There is currently ONE AACS 2.1 disc that MakeMKV doesn't support and it's a version of this Zombieland disc.

The media key is for the Joker UHD he had in his hand during the video. The python script they wrote to get keys from the key server has not been made public, so it's unlikely this will lead to anything other than a kuel demonstration of some very talented individuals.

Because they're big. And Asus/ LG drives don't like triple layer discs. You can try cleaning them. Yes even if they "look clean" or "came right out of the package." Use a microfiber cloth. The reality is they are difficult discs to read because they are so big. We all had issues ...

Simply open the disc with makemkv. And I mean all the way to the title selection screen. Just leave it there and do not eject the disc at that point. Load imgburn and make a protected iso.

Mine was the steelbook from best buy.

This is why I used imgburn to make a protected iso. I got 4 retries in that section of the disc but was eventually able to get a good read. Just enable libredrive before making the iso with imgburn and hope it can retry through that part of the disc. P.S. that is with my pioneer drives. I had to try...

Or, you know, do what I do and just change FindVUK to drop it in the .MakeMKV folder so when it's sync'd with FindVUK it updates the one MakeMKV uses. Look in the findvuk.ini file in the config folder.

Drop the keydb.cfg file in your .MakeMKV directory. Open disc.

I'm not sure what that even means. The keydb can be used by MakeMKV if there's a key in it for your title. But what does it mean to "import" it? Makemkv has its own internal hashed keys that aren't accessible to end users.

I just got home but looks like a key for the CE MKB20_v77_Avatar_E7D0.tgz disc has been added to the keydb, as well. Nice. I didn't see any MakeMKV HK downloads yet so I'd say they're still unsupported in MakeMKV as of now.

(And yes I'm turning my steelbook into a 3 disc collector's Avatar edition. Screw them )
