Re: Batch File Question
Lots of choices, if the information is already decrypted. Check the Advanced forum here, and you will see some scripts to automate using MakeMKV. They would work without decryption. With a decrypted source, you can also use scripts found on the handbrake forum (forum.handbrake.fr) to automate re-enc...

Re: reauthor makemkv backups 3d
That requires BD authoring software that understands 3D. And the instructions for doing that would be included with the software.

Re: titles out of order?
No, there are methods to find the correct title, and MakeMKV tries to do it, if you have Java installed on your computer. But it isn't always right. The usual way things happen is that someone posts messages asking "what's the right play list for [fill in title here]?" and others with the ...

Re: titles out of order?
Search for "lionsgate" here, and you know why - they create dozens (on DVD) or hundreds (on BD) of false titles, constructed out of the data on the disk, with the scenes out of order, and you have to figure out which one is real. It varies with when and where you bought the disk.

For things like that, emails to support@makemkv.com are the way to go - that gets directly to Mike. He's not here every day.

Re: Unable to find TrueHD atmos audio in "The Fifth Element"
There was a message earlier that the Atmos track was only available on the 4K version, which MakeMKV can't read at this time.

Re: New user multiple rips of one title
Welcome to the world of disk authoring.... :) One thing that might explain what is happening is that MakeMKV numbers titles by the order it encountered them in the directory, NOT by their file name. When you take a directory of the disk, though, you will see them in name-sorted order, so you wonder ...

Re: Just downloaded 1.10.4 - Evaluation already expired?
The beta key should not expire before about the 26th of January 2017. The evaluation period on the Bluray functionality starts when you tell it to rip the first BD.
However, you can "re-register" with a non-expired beta key to start the 30 day period again.

Re: MakeMKV not working - Windows 10
Check your Windows settings - there are reports of recent updates turning Windows Defender back on, even after you've disabled it. Windows Defender has a history of blocking access to some MakeMKV DLL files, causing it to crash.

Re: HD-DVD woes
If the same drive gives the same response on different machines and multiple disks, it makes the drive the likeliest suspect in the problem. Have you dusted the drive's interior recently (air duster)? It is possible that it has dirt interfering with movement, although it SHOULD be reporting seek err...

Re: Sierra 10.12.1 + MakeMKV 1.10.3 + XBOX 360 HD-DVD = hang
Does the warning "It's highly recommended to install DASPI kernel extension to improve performance." mean I must or really should? Other places people said MakeMKV would say it's required but here it says "highly recommended." Mike has said you should not install DASPI unless Ma...

Re: CellWalk algorithm failed (structure protection is too t
Don't worry about attachments - including the log in the text of the message is adequate, unless it is bigger than about 50K. Debug codes often mean the drive is covering up for a problem. When asked to read part of the disk, it didn't return any error, but the data returned did not make sense. Mike...

Re: Playlist that is not equal is being dropped
OK, I see what you mean - The original DVD credits incorporated the English in place of the Japanese within main episode, and Funimation decided to keep the untranslated Japanese credits, and create a separate 30-second set of credits in English, which is why I never missed it. I remember Mike posti...
